Dave's Tips

Be aware that the park map and the reservation system map have numerous discrepancies. Both have errors in placement of campsites!

Sites that appear to be waterside on the campground map are actually up on the bluff. There are no sites that are actually on the water. Sites with a great water view however include 19, 23, and 24. Sites 19 and 21 have good views as well.

Keewaydin has a great boat launch and dockage for your boat.

For the kids, Keeywaydin has a great playground along with an oversized pool located behind sites 41-46.

The park does tend to get quit crowded in the summer months with lots of trailers and vehicles. Spacing between sites is rather limited. Be aware that there are map discrepancies between the Reservation System and the actual park map. In particular sites 13, 14, 15, 24, 32, 75, and 76. Keewaydin State Park photos were taken in the spring on May 11, 2014. As such consider that the leaves on the trees are not fully out. If you are camping at Keewaydin in the summer, you can assume that there will be a bit more shade on sites that have deciduous trees.
