IMPORTANT! Caroga Lake has reconfigured/renumbered their campsites as of the 2017 season. Many sites have been enlarged/combined to accommodate 30 and 40ft trailers. The original 161 campsites have been reduced to 87. Both OLD and NEW campground maps are included on the maps page. By comparing site numbers on the OLD and NEW maps you may be able to utilize campsite photos for some sites such as the loop adjacent to the lake. All new photos of Caroga Lake coming Mar 2024!

Caroga Lake photos were taken in the spring on May 13, 2012. As such consider that the leaves on the trees are not fully out. If you are camping at Caroga Lake in the summer, you can assume that there will be more shade and more privacy on sites that have deciduous trees.
