Dave's Tips

Point Comfort is situated at the south end of Piseco Lake looking east with fine mountain views. It's a bit on the rustic side as it has compost toilets only, and no showers, and it only has a few decent waterside sites, so the likelihood of getting a watersite may be slim.

Site 75 is one of the few great waterfront sites
You're best bet is to try and get site 75, 75 or 76 which are off on a small dirt road at the north end. They all offer decent privacy, especially site 76. They are nice and flat, are right at water level, have their own beach and offer super views across Piseco Lake and the mountains!

If you paddle up the shortline, you will come to Little Sand Point Campground which is about a mile and a half to the north.
