Campground Overview
Located on picturesque Piseco Lake, Point Comfort offers activities such as hiking, swimming, and fishing. At an elevation of 1,660 feet, the park's terrain is hilly, with well-wooded areas consisting of conifers and mixed hardwoods. The campground offers fine fishing, canoeing, sailing, and other water sports opportunities. Numerous hiking trails challenge the day hiker, and the 133-mile Northville-Lake Placid Trail is minutes away. A natural sand beach offers a guarded swimming area from mid-June to Labor Day.
